I decided to try an entry on the ‘closed group’ Shetland Wool Week facebook page with a pic of my Shetland Lace wool Sideboard I had just finished and info on my Open Studio times.  Got a great response!

My studio has been closed for 3 years, a disc neck injury stopped me working. But I’m taking it slow and finding my feet again, still lost confidence in my drawing after this long break but hope in time it will come back. This A1 chalk pastel drawing of Red Admirals under wing has been on the easel for 3 years! Sore point.

Never seen my studio so tidy! Must be my first ever-open studio for wool week!

Lots of lovely visitors came from all over the world and locals too! Lovely comments, sales and commissions have come out of this opening for me – so delighted.

My website was just being built by NB Communication at this stage so its all been happening!
